China's accession to WTO promotes international trade development, we have now built up importing and exporting trade relationship with more than 20 countries including America, Japan, France, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, Brazil, Australia, Vietnam, Philippine, Thailand, Cuba, Ecuador on grain and oil, fodder, local products, sea food, fruits, cotton, chemical products and commodities. The annual turn over of imports and exports in 2001 was up to 99,800,000 US dollars, which played an important role in industrializing the agriculture and increasing incomes of the peasants.
